Refund and cancellation policy
How a One-Time Compliance Packet purchase and a recurring subscription are refunded or canceled.

What cancellation does in the product
Canceling a recurring subscription keeps normal access through the paid-through date, followed by a 30-day read-only period, after which the association workspace is archived non-destructively. Nothing is hard-deleted, and legal holds and retention safeguards always take precedence.
Refund terms
Monthly and annual subscriptions are billed in advance and are non-refundable once charged, except where a refund is required by law. Canceling stops future renewals and does not refund the current paid period: access continues through the paid-through date, followed by a 30-day read-only period, after which the workspace is archived non-destructively. A One-Time Compliance Packet is fully refundable before substantive work begins. Substantive work begins when research on the packet starts; once it has begun, or once the packet has been delivered, the packet is non-refundable except where a refund is required by law. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method through our payment provider and are never automatic. If you dispute a charge with your bank we record the dispute and respond with our records; a dispute does not cause your data to be deleted.
